Disable Right click Blocking on any Website

Ever been on a website/blog that has your right-click menu blocked ?  Yes,  everyone finds it annoying getting a Pop-up "Right Click Functionality has been disabled" (Sometimes or on many blogs you may get nothing not even a pop-up, feels like a rude website :P ). You may try to copy some images or view the web source of the website/blog but when right-click is disabled everything seems impossible. In this post, i will show you how you can disable right click blocking on any website/blog.

Disable Right Click Blocking on any website

The owner of the no-right-click website uses Javascript to make this work which is one of the most popular scripting languages used to enhance functionality or improve user experience in many ways. Can also be used to tighten the security of any website/blog. In order to disable right click blocking or any other restrictions imposed by javascript you just needed to disable javascript using the methods mentioned below.

How to Disable Javascript to enable Right Click (for Firefox)

  • Click on 'Tools' from the menu bar and select Options.

  • From Options windows, Go to 'Contents' tab and uncheck the option which say 'Enable Javascript'

  • Click OK.

How to Disable Javascript to enable Right Click (for Chrome)

  • Click on Google Chrome's menu button on top left corner and Select 'Settings'.

  • From settings page Click on  'Show Advanced Settings'.

  • Under Privacy options Click on Content settings.

  • Under 'JavaScript' select the option which says, 'Do not alloy any website to run Javascript' and click on Done.

Refresh the Blocked page and now you are free to right click anywhere on the website for viewing the source code or any other purposes.
