Crack Wifi Using Wifite
Always wanted to know the password to your neighbour's wifi but could not find a working tool yet? Or wanted to know if anyone else can breach the security on your router and gain access to internet? Well, wifite is just the tool for you! Start to crack wifi using wifite.
PLEASE NOTE THAT HACKING IS A PUNISHABLE OFFENCE. THE FOLLOWING TUTORIAL IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF CRIME COMMITTED IN ANY WAY USING IT!
Wifite is a free Linux tool that helps you to hack wifi passwords in the easiest way possible. You do not need to have any advanced knowledge about hacking, just give it a command and it does it's work. :)
You need to be root or super user (along with being the super geek ;) ) to use wifite. For that, type su in terminal and your root password.
To install wifite, open the terminal and type:
apt-get install wifite
And you are ready. To run wifite, type wifite in the terminal and it will begin searching for the nearest wireless networks.

When the network that you want to target shows up, press Ctrl+C and then type in the target number of wifi network that you want to hack.

Then sit back, relax!
After that, wifite will begin it's magic! I changed my router's security to WEP and Key to "hello". It was cracked within 3 minutes! Cool, right? ;)

NOTE: Wireless Routers protected with WEP (Wired Equivalent Protection) Security are the EASIEST to crack, probably under 10 minutes if you are lucky. If your router uses it, make sure to change it to WPA (Wifi Protected Access) or WPA2. Cracking a WPA/WPA2 password can take from minutes to hours to months, depending on the strength of the password used. Also, disable WPS (Wifi Protected Setup) on your router as enabling it makes it MORE VULNERABLE to attacks.
Make sure to change your wifi password often, since if you do so and anyone knew the password, they won't be able to use your internet for long.
Remember, its is all about patience. You may fail at first, but you have to try again and again.
Nyc tutorial.. :-)
