Windows 10 is here, Get your PC ready !

Windows 10 is and upcoming PC (Personal Computer) operating system developed by Microsoft as a part of 'Windows NT' Family of operating systems. Microsoft has announced that this operating system will be released on July 29th, saying "Windows 10 isn't for all of us, but for each of us".
Microsoft's Terry Myerson announced that,

Windows 10 will be free for the users of Windows 8.1 for its first year. While there is no word on pricing for users on Windows 7 and previous windows versions. Microsoft Confirmed that the two most recent versions of windows will able to directly upgrade to Windows 10 free for the first year.

Microsoft Edge, the refreshed web browser will arrive on pc's first before rolling out on windows phone. There's a 'Reading Mode' in the browser for offline viewing with support of PDF files.

Cortana, is in-built in the refreshed browser and will attempt to predict and answer queries (e.g restaurant information) straight from the browser.

Apps that run Everywhere

Apps are going to be an instrumental part of getting Windows 10 working everywhere, including smartphones and devices like gaming consoles (X-Box). To that end, Microsoft is trumpeting universal apps that'll exist on Pcs and mobile devices. The new Photos app scans your devices and OneDrive account for photos and arranges them into a giant collection. It'll work on mobile devices too.

The app will also automatically enhance all of the photos it finds, wrangling red eye and sorting our exposure levels. The process is completely optional, and works on RAW files too.

Full X-Box Support

Microsoft has also added an X-Box app, it doesn't do all that much, at present you'll be able to see what your friends are doing and send them messages, check out achievements, and look at game clips people have pre-recorded. Microsoft ultimately aims to bring the full X-Box Live experience to Windows 10 PCs, including allowing you to stream games from your X-Box one console directly to you PC. Hope, HTAT functionality to be implemented soon.
