Automatically Mount Drives in Linux Mint

This tutorial will tell you how to Automatically Mount Drives in Linux Mint. Whenever you restart your computer, the hard drive or hard disk partitions are not mounted by default. So, shortcuts to any content on your drives will not work unless you explicitly open file browser like Nemo and click on a drive to mount it. To solve this, we can mount some (or all) of the drives at startup.

How to: Automatically Mount Drives in Linux Mint

=>Click on Menu button->Preferences->Disks. The Disks utility shows up.

=>The names of all drives show up. To know which partition is the one that you want to auto mount, open file browser and check the name of the drive. In our case, it is /media/niks/New Volume.
